Cody Brown comes to New York University with an obsession in new media, journalism, and cinema.
Ricky D’Ambrose is an undergraduate in the Cinema Studies and English Literature departments at New York University.
Daniel Gorman is a freelance critic out of Chicago, IL. He loves to argue and will occasionally spew hyperbole. He means no offense.
Anna Bak-Kvapil is pursuing a M.A. in Cinema Studies. She lives in Brooklyn and goes to as many repertory screenings as she can.
Monica Sandler is a Junior in the Cinema Studies Department at NYU. Her cinematic interests include: stardom, social context of cinema, film history, and genre study. The eras of the 1930s, 60s, and 70s are a particular focus.
Gleb Sidorkin was born in Novosbirsk, Russia, and came to New York by way of Seattle and Toledo. He got his BFA at NYU’s film production program, and is working on his MA in the Comparative Literature department. His academic interests include Soviet cinema, new media, and essay-films. He is currently working on a paper called “Russian War Cinema in the Putin Era” and looking for collaborators to begin adapting Hegel’s “The Phenomenology of Spirit” into a video game.
Ignatiy Vishnevetsky is a freelance critic. He lives and works in Chicago.
