I guess I would disagree that "he gets better with every movie" because I've thought that he's some kind of master for at least his last three films. I can't wait to see it again either, I think it is one of those films (like Public Enemies) that is going to only gradually reveal all of its mysteries and complexities.

I'm particularly impressed by the connections you've made between the various interviews, i.e. how they mirror each other, and how there is a kind of devastating "progression" in what you'd call, I suppose, the film's "narrative."  I want to write about this profoundly beautiful film, but, in keeping with your astute through-line here, one viewing feels insufficient. Can't wait for the chance to see it again. I swear this guy gets better with every movie he makes.</description>
