The Tisch Film Review began in 2007, when New York University students Nicholas Pandolfi and Zachary Wigon wanted to encourage a conversation between filmmakers and film writers. Since then, TFR has enlarged this dialogue, championing serious, intelligent opinions and ideas about the cinema from a variety of backgrounds and disciplines. Our online presence continues to grow, appearing on websites such as GreenCine Daily and Pitchfork. As both a print journal and online film blog, we celebrate the next generation of artists and thinkers alike, welcoming new intellectual and creative voices, enlarging the role of film criticism for the twenty-first century.
